Throughout this project, I led the product design and interface development for Send Across, a cross-chain invoicing and transaction tool enabling users to create, track, and settle invoices seamlessly across blockchains. Key Design Challenges & Solutions: User Trust in Cross-Chain Interactions • Challenge: New users were unfamiliar with handling invoices across multiple chains. • Solution: Designed clean, modular flows with visible step-by-step status to reinforce confidence, supported by explanatory tooltips and confirmation layers. Invoice Clarity & Management • Challenge: Ensuring that both creators and receivers clearly understand status, amounts, and payment options. • Solution: Implemented timeline-style invoice tracking, summary cards, and dynamic UI states (pending, paid, expired, etc.). Component System Across Product + Landing • Built a unified component library to reuse invoice, wallet, and status elements between the dashboard and landing page, streamlining dev handoff and visual consistency. Communication and Tokenomics Visibility • Designed clear layouts to explain Send Across’ transaction fee model and token utility for advanced users and investors—employing subtle animations and toggled views.
The outcome is a robust cross-chain invoice platform that simplifies Web3 financial interactions while maintaining high visual clarity and user guidance. Key Learnings: System Thinking for Reusability • Learning: Designing reusable UI patterns across landing + app ensures visual integrity and saves developer time. • Implementation: Created component sets that adapt to multiple layouts and use cases. Micro UX to Build Trust • Learning: Animations and confirmations are critical in unfamiliar blockchain flows. • Implementation: Designed interactions that provide subtle real-time feedback during token transfer and invoice approval. Narrative-Driven Landing Experience • Learning: Onboarding non-technical users requires story-driven layout. • Implementation: Structured content sections to walk users through problem, solution, product, and actions seamlessly.
