Sector 51
A launch-layer platform enabling fair token distribution, bot-resistant mechanics, and sustainable investor alignment.

Sector 51 is a modular Web3 launch platform designed to enable fair, transparent, and intent-based token launches. It redefines the way creators, DAOs, and investors interact during early-stage token events — eliminating VC gatekeeping, bot-driven unfairness, and opaque vesting structures.
As Design Lead, I was responsible for building the entire product experience and landing page — from visual identity and UX hierarchy to interaction systems and on-chain conceptual storytelling. The focus was to simplify complex tokenomics through minimal, symbolic illustrations and intuitive interface logic that built trust and comprehension.
The design direction combined spatial, sci‑fi metaphors with precision‑driven interface layouts, reflecting the platform’s promise of fairness, liquidity control, and user sovereignty. Each section — from launchpads to multi-chain trading — was crafted to align visual rhythm with the product’s core message: transparent systems built for decentralized trust.

Web3, Token Launch Platforms, Crypto Governance
Throughout the project, I led the full visual and UX direction for Sector 51’s landing page and product platform. The challenge was to present complex crypto launch mechanics in a digestible, high-trust visual framework. Key design and UX problems tackled:
Token Launch Clarity
Challenge: Communicating unique launch mechanics like anti-sniping and vesting to non-technical users.
Solution: Used simple, line-based symbolic illustrations to anchor each concept visually—“Fair Launch,” “No Snipers,” and “Aligned Incentives.”
Trust & Transparency
Challenge: Avoiding crypto buzzwords while retaining sophistication.
Solution: Created a brand tone and layout that emphasizes calm confidence—clean typography, structured grids, and muted colors against black for authority.
Information Architecture
Challenge: Aligning landing page messaging with investor behavior.
Solution: Reordered feature cards based on perceived user friction—starting from launch fairness to community reward mechanisms.
As the design lead, I was responsible for translating product whitepapers and internal tokenomics logic into design artifacts—including UI flows, banners, line-based system illustrations, and layout systems for both the marketing and platform layer.
The result was a clean, strategic landing page and token launch UI that balances deep crypto-native ideas with mass user accessibility.
Strategic Learnings:
Design Consistency & Trust Signals
Learning: Building investor trust required design consistency, especially across visual metaphors and tone.
Implementation: Reused symbolic geometry across all 3 value sections. Added interactive hover states for card clarity.
Narrative-led Visual Design
Learning: Each product mechanic had to be visualized in a memorable way.
Implementation: Generated custom abstract visuals for each feature ("Sniping" as orbit-based distortion, “Incentives” as interlinked locks, etc.), unified into a single dark-themed system collage.
Frictionless Explanation of Complex Mechanics
Learning: People don’t read everything. The visuals had to “teach” without reading.
Implementation: Paired one-line headlines with meaningful micro-animations and iconography for fast comprehension.
Thanks a lot for Reading!
